If there is any unjustice in the world, then Saudi Airlines makes the perfect example, making promises and giving hope to a family to then turn their back. A false intention made to avoid there irresponsibility.
On November 12, 1996 a Saudi Arabian Airlines Flight 763 (SVA 763), a Boeing 747-168B and a Kazakhstan Airlines Flight 1907 (KZK 1907), an Ilyushin Il-76, sufferd the worst air collision in history in Charkhi Dadri, Haryana, India.
350 people were killed. A tragedy that left no survivors.
Cap. Nazir Khan was the first officer of the Saudi Airline crew.
A victim of this matter, leaving his wife Janette and 2 children, Ruth (7 years) and Jonathan (6 years) behind, alone and unprotected.
14 years have passed......no news from Saudi Airlines...no promise fulfilled.
13 years of strugle and complications for this family that had to go to Bolivia were the mothers family resided, looking for help, still did everthing possible in their hands to contact Saudi Airlines. Even leaving hope in the hands of the young son Jonathan, who traveld back to Jeddah to seek Saudi Airlines and solve the matter as why they had abandond their promise, as soon he turned 18.
For 2 years of trying, still no hope ,for they refused and denied such promise.
Leaving this...
If Saudi Arabian Aircraft had been equiped with the ACAS (Airborne Collision Avoidance System) then such accident would have never happend and 350 souls would still be alive. And to avoid any scandel, Saudi Arabian Airline officers offered help with Prince Fahad disclosing a decree for an additional compensation for the families of the members of the Saudi crew, gaining time to soothe matters and now denie any help or promise made at all.
Can a Airline that takes such actions be trustworthy???
A SIMPLE QUESTION, A BIG DIFFRENCE.
